Attempts to sign up with Del.icio.us

Del.icio.us at https://del.icio.us/login was a hard one, and apparently has server issues. When I attempt to “sign up”, I get “server error” messages. When I attempt to “sign in” with either Facebook or Google +, I get “unknown errors”. I double checked my Facebook settings to see if I had Del.icio.us blocked, which I do not. I even attempted to login and sign on from two other browsers of Safari and Opera other than my main browser of Firefox, which also resulted in failed attempts, so that way I knew the problem wasn’t with the browser on my end.
I thought I would check the Del.icio.us server from the “Is it down right now” website at http://www.isitdownrightnow.com/delicious.com.html. I checked from here several times and most the time the results were “DOWN, Delicious.com is DOWN for everyone”. When the result wasn’t this, it was “UP, Delicious.com is UP and reachable. The website is probably down just for you...” in which I still was not able to access Del.icio.us

Ultimately, I was not able to access the Del.icio.us site at all. I will try again during the week, and if I am able to access it and sign up, I will post a new blog. Otherwise, I am not able to successfully complete this part of the assignment.
