Read/WriteWeb

There is a lot of information on Read/WriteWeb at https://readwrite.com/. This blog reports on web technology as well as tech industry news, reviews and analysis. This colorful, well laid out blog includes articles relating to new, rising and popular technology. A couple of current posts that caught my eye under the "popular" category are "5 Ways to Save Money for Your Side Hustle" and "Do You Have What it Takes to Be an IoT (Internet of Things" Developer?" The "Side Hustle" blog caught my because I am a Grubhub driver in my spare time and the "IoT" blog because I am interested in all things IT, as related to my schooling. Overall, Read/WriteWeb is an interesting blog site worth a look!

This blog is part of an assignment from American Military University for my "Web 2.0 Fundamentals" class where I am to review at least two blogs from the review called "The Top Ten Blogs Following Web 2.0", by Brian Wynne Williams at https://www.viget.com/articles/top-10-blogs-following-web-20/

  1. You are very right about this site. It's colorful, well laid out, and has a lot of new articles. Not a lot of dated information. I like that. When going to a website I don't want to look at something that hasn't been touched in years and I want something that is easy to follow and catches my attention. What stood out to you most in this website?

  2. I agree with Dawn about this site and how it is laid out and pretty much up to date. It seems that many places are not so much up to date. The URL from Brian Williams that we are to follow is even from 2006. It has made it difficult to post it up in an rss feed because of how old it is. This is not fun, but anyways, adapt and overcome as we say in the fire service. I also enjoy things IOT, but maybe not as much as others. I am into so much right now it is hard to stay with one think. I don't even watch TV except at work when someone else has a show on. Is what it is I guess.
