Summary of podcast “Goat Tracks Podcast: Tebow Time”

This 27 minute long podcast entitled “Goat Tracks Podcast: Tebow Time” is about Tim Tebow who plays in the minor leagues for the New York Mets. I am not really a Tebow fan, but I am a sports fan, which is why this podcast caught my attention. This podcast discusses his current minor league baseball career. He has “OK” statistics, but not good enough to be called up to the big leagues. His age is also a concern, taking into consideration that if he was younger, he could be a better prospect. They also said specifically that if he learned to hit the ball, that it would improve his chances of being called up and it is still a possibility for him to make the big leagues if he can do that. They also mentioned his NFL history of how he was drafted by the Bronco’s, won one playoff game, then played briefly for the Jets, and New England and how he never excelled in the NFL. They spoke of “Tebow mania” which they did not buy into because Tebow is so “down to earth” and doesn't do anything controversial. Also discussed was Dion Sanders, Bo Jackson, Drew Henson and Michael Jordon, also two sport athletes. Jackson was the best athlete of all mentioned, who could have been in the hall of fame for both sports if he had been able to play longer.

This blog is part of an assignment from American Military University for my "Web 2.0 Fundamentals" class where I am to listen to and then summarize 3 different podcasts.
