Breakers Beach!

Breakers Beach is a favorite spot of mine, located on Naval Air Station, North Island. It is on government property, so crowds are minimal. It is a beautiful spot, with outstanding views of Point Loma to the right and Hotel Del, Imperial Beach and Mexico to to the left. On weekdays, planes or helicopters fly over or land quite a bit and base traffic is a nightmare later in the day. On weekends it is much more peaceful. There is also a Navy Lodge on Breakers Beach. A popular vacation spot for active duty or veterans. The water is usually a touch colder than west facing beaches on the other side of Point Loma. Photos from June 30, 2018.

Abandoned, washed up sailboat. Owner unknown. Been there since 2017 sometime. My not ever be removed, since it continues to be stuck in the sand (Info via lifeguards).
